Performance Management

In order for employees to perform at optimum levels, it is crucial for corporation leaders to define the purpose, duties and responsibilities of each job.  Once this foundation is laid, goals and priorities with measurable outcomes must be set.

Performance Management establishes an environment that enables and encourages employees to develop and perform to their fullest potential.

Creating an open relationship between the employer and employee is necessary in order to monitor employee progress and development.  This can be encouraged through employee surveys, performance reviews and recognition programs.  Also, implementing interim discussions, at least quarterly, is an effective way of opening communication lines and providing constructive feedback for the employee.  If an employee is not meeting company expectations, improvement plans can be created to promote improvement.
